ALDI to open seven new supermarkets in Madrid in 2026

ALDI is expanding its presence in the Comunidad de Madrid with the opening of seven new shops in 2026. The first supermarket will open its doors on 18 February in the Hortaleza neighbourhood, with a sales area of 1,200 m² and a team of 16 employees who will offer customers a personalised service.

The shop will offer fresh nationally produced products, own-brand products at competitive prices, weekly promotions and household items. The first months of operation will be accompanied by special offers, including regional products.

There are currently 68 ALDI supermarkets in the region. In 2026, the company plans to open 40 new establishments throughout Spain and strengthen logistics by expanding the Pinto platform to 40,000 m². The chain’s strategy enables families to save up to €20 a week on their regular shopping.
