This was Rosalía’s concert in Barcelona: diva spectacle, Bad Gyal and contact with the audience

At 21:00, a packed Palau Sant Jordi awaits the artist who has already become a true benchmark of modernity, innovation and Barcelona's flagship around the world. So much so that this week we learned that Rosalía has just been named “Woman of the Year” for the 2026 edition of the Billboard Latin Women in Music ceremony.

The third Barcelona concert of her Lux Tour began with “Sexo, Violencia y Llantas”, the song that opens her album Lux, and continued without moving from the same position with “Reliquia”.

Four unreleased songs now on digital platforms

At the concert, where she spoke entirely in Catalan during her remarks, Rosalía gave an exclusive: “Today the four new songs that complete the Lux album have come out.” Let us remember that on Spotify and YouTube, the Catalan artist released Lux with 15 tracks, so four new unreleased songs are now added to the digital platforms in April 2026: “Focu'ranni”, “Novia Robot”, “Dios es un stalker” (francotiradora version) and “Jeanne”. Those who have the CD and vinyl do have it complete, that is, with all 19 songs. At Friday's concert, the artist then surprised the audience with her performance of “Focu'ranni” as the third-to-last song.

At the start of the concert, the Catalan artist thanked the whole team for making the tour possible and had special words for her sister and mother, who were there on Friday.

Lux choreographies and earlier songs

With the somewhat calmer songs, Rosalía let loose, danced, performed, followed highly rehearsed choreographies and did not disappoint. The audience stood up for the song “Berghain”, previously released as the album's lead advance single, in which Icelandic singer Björk also sings, among others.

Strong points

Rosalía is a spectacle in herself. She sings intimately and moves people. She dances and gets everyone dancing, expresses herself, renews, creates and knows how to conduct each of the 4 parts of the concert.

Critical points

The show is measured from beginning to end. The same dances, tempos and other elements we have already seen on the tour, in Lyon, Milan, Madrid… the best thing is to go without having seen anything, to let yourself be surprised.

Although people said the concert lasts two or three hours, the truth is that it did not reach two hours. It began at a little after 21:00, and at approximately 22:15 Rosalía performed one of the “new” songs from her Lux album and said: “We are already reaching the end.” She waited a few minutes and returned with the show's final number, “Magnolias”. It then ended; it was 22:40. There was no encore.

There was a lack of a further nod to Barcelona, some song, some different touch from the same show in the other cities.

It is a concert for enjoying her, her voice, dancing, her aura, in a somewhat more intimate concert and ideal for a somewhat smaller space such as the Liceu or Palau de la Música.

Photojournalists were not allowed into the tour concerts to do their work. But spectators were able to send and share their photos and videos. It would be good to let professionals work, as they are the ones who provide information.
