Cruïlla 2026 opts for unique stages inspired by the Mediterranean
Festival Cruïlla is preparing a different edition in 2026, in which stage design will be a central part of the experience. Between 8 and 11 July, Parc del Fòrum will combine music and visual proposals inspired by the Mediterranean and everyday life.
The organisers have selected two projects from more than a hundred proposals. The studio HAUSOFCOLOR.EU will design the Estrella Damm stage with “Persiana”, an installation based on red slats that reinterpret typical elements of Mediterranean architecture.
Meanwhile, the Occident stage will feature “Una cadira, mil Cruïlles”, designed by the studio walk. The proposal uses suspended chairs to create a flexible and recognisable space, with an aesthetic that connects the domestic with the collective.
Both designs are conceived as living structures, capable of changing with the light and the rhythm of the festival. They also incorporate sustainability criteria, with elements that can be reused after the event.
The initiative strengthens Cruïlla's role as more than a music festival. The event continues to broaden its identity towards a complete cultural experience, where the surroundings and stage design are part of the show.
The festival will bring more activity to Parc del Fòrum and the surrounding area, with an impact on transport, leisure and commerce during those days. It also strengthens the summer cultural offering, adding proposals that go beyond music.
