Badalona will light up its sky with 500 drones on the most magical night of the Festes de Maig

On 10 May, the city will experience a historic night with a show of 500 drones that will light up the sky with figures of light accompanied by music, on the eve of the traditional Cremada del Dimoni. This show, which premiered last year, now doubles in spectacle and creativity, telling a visual journey through the city's symbols.

The event marks the culmination of festivities that combine tradition and modernity. The programme includes free concerts by artists such as Omar Montes, Nena Daconte, Edu Esteve, Doctor Prats and Ramoncín, as well as cultural activities in every district, thanks to the new Aparador Escènic series.

The opening proclamation will be delivered by radio presenter Dani Moreno «El Gallo», who will return to his Badalona roots from the balcony of the Casa de la Vila on 2 May. This year's Dimoni, «El voluntari més endimoniat», pays tribute to the solidarity of the public.

The Festes de Maig also aim to be inclusive and safe, with accessible spaces, vibrating backpacks at concerts and measures against sexual assault. Celebrations designed so that everyone can enjoy Badalona at its finest.
