The operation, which begins on the morning of 24 June, involves the collaboration of several security bodies and municipal services, including the Guàrdia Urbana and the Mossos d’Esquadra, which ensure order and accompany the cleaning teams. Cleaning efforts begin at 6:00 in the morning, with the aim of leaving beaches and public areas clean and available for daytime use the following day.
The event also promotes civic use of public space, stressing the ban on bonfires on the beach and encouraging the collection and proper disposal of waste. In addition, measures are implemented to facilitate access for emergency services, and the opening hours of establishments and public spaces are regulated to align them with the festival timetable.
