Barcelona hosts Brit Under Fest: British culture and major names in May

Notable names include Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting, who will take part in talks about his work, and Neville Brody, a leading figure in graphic design linked to music and visual culture. The music line-up includes bands such as Cooper T, King No-One, Bikini Body, Hungry, Silverbacks and Pynch, with a focus on indie, punk and alternative sounds. The programme is rounded out with exhibitions such as the British Culture Archive exhibition and a performance by Sylvester, as well as food spaces and activities for all audiences. Tickets are already on sale, with two-day passes from €52 and daily tickets from €30.

The festival expands Barcelona's cultural calendar with a multidisciplinary format that connects different creative scenes. For the city, it means attracting new audiences, enlivening the Montjuïc area and offering different plans beyond the usual circuits.
