Barcelona has launched a network of 227 Christmas tree collection points, strategically distributed across the city’s ten districts. This measure seeks to make it easier for residents to recycle their trees after the Christmas celebrations.
The action forms part of municipal policies aimed at sustainable waste management and environmental protection. The City Council is thereby reinforcing its commitment to urban sustainability and citizen involvement in caring for the environment.
On Wednesday 7 January, at 18:00, the Saló de la Ciutat of Barcelona City Council will host the swearing-in ceremony of Tània Corrons as the new councillor for the Barcelona En Comú Municipal Group. The event will be chaired by Mayor Jaume Collboni and attended by other members of the Consell Municipal.
