Barcelona seeks new pages and helpers for the 2026 Three Kings Parade: how to take part in the year’s most magical procession
Barcelona City Council has already opened applications to join the entourage accompanying Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar in the 2026 Three Kings Parade, a procession which every 5 January turns the city into a great festive stage. This year again, anyone aged 8 and over can apply for a place in the royal retinue.
Registration, which will take place only online, will be available until 21 November 2025 at 23:59 h. The process works as a draw, and places are allocated according to age.
Children aged 8 to 10 can become the youngest pages, who will take part in the parade with choreography created especially for them. From 11 to 13, applicants can opt for the role of welcoming pages, likewise dressed and ready to dance with the assigned groups.
From 14 to 17, the role changes: they will be members of the entourage, responsible for distributing crowns along the five-kilometre route. And for those over 18, the opportunity is to join as technical collaborators, the team ensuring that the entire parade machinery — floats, artistic elements, order and accompaniment — works perfectly.
Taking part in the Parade is experiencing the year's most magical night from the inside: three hours of route, thousands of children's looks and the feeling of forming part of a tradition Barcelona has kept alive for more than a century.
