Partial closure of Barcelona Metro L4 from 6 to 8 December
L4 will be closed between Passeig de Gràcia and La Pau during the December long weekend. There will be replacement buses and impacts on L2. Find out how it affects you and which routes to use.
Barcelona Metro's L4 line will remain closed between Passeig de Gràcia and La Pau on 6, 7 and 8 December due to maintenance work and signalling improvements. During the closure, Passeig de Gràcia station will operate only in the direction of Trinitat Nova.
To ensure mobility, a special bus service will be provided to cover the affected section. TMB recommends that users allow more travel time and check diversions before setting off.
There will also be disruptions on the L2: on 6 and 8 December, trains heading towards Badalona will not stop at the usual platform at Clot station. This could cause delays and changes to usual journeys.
These disruptions are part of the metro infrastructure improvement plan, which aims to increase the safety and efficiency of the service. The operator advises planning journeys in advance and using alternative routes whenever possible.
