Five Barcelona restaurants sweep The Fork Spain’s top 10

Barcelona takes over The Fork ranking with five restaurants in the top 10. Casa Bangla and Zaytun lead the podium. Discover which venues surprised users in 2025. Catalonia dominates the national list.

Barcelona is once again at the epicentre of Spain’s gastronomic scene after the latest edition of The Fork’s Top 100. According to user votes and reviews in 2025, five Barcelona restaurants have managed to make it into the country’s ten best.

Two local names stand out on the podium: Casa Bangla, specialising in Indian cuisine, is in third place with a score of 9.7 out of 10. Just above it, in second place, is Zaytun, a fusion restaurant led by chef Juanan Vizcaíno, which comes close to perfection with a 9.8.

The list continues with Speakeasy, in sixth place, which wins diners over with its Mediterranean offering and dishes such as fish ceviche made with market-fresh catch. Âme Barcelona and Prodigi complete Barcelona’s presence in the top 10, taking eighth and ninth place respectively.

The national ranking is headed by Baalbec Restaurant Lounge de Alicante, while Madrid and Alicante also achieve representation in the leading positions. The top 10 is as follows: Baalbec Restaurant Lounge (Alicante), Casa Bangla (Barcelona), Zaytun (Barcelona), Omeraki (Madrid), Marcelle Madrid (Madrid), Speakeasy (Barcelona), El Callejón de Álvarez Gato (Madrid), Âme (Barcelona), Prodigi (Barcelona) and Casa Mia Italia (Alicante).

Catalonia consolidates its position as the autonomous community with the largest presence on the list, with 25 restaurants among Spain’s one hundred best. The most notable include Terra d’Escudella, Brasa Gaucha Grill, Cocina Hermanos Torres, Plano B, Viana, La Estrella 1924, The Alchemic, Kangnam, Ginnan, Fishology, Fiorito, Lasarte by Martín Berasategui, El Racó d’en Cesc, Erre & Urrechu, AH-UN, Suculent, Aula, Ikoya Izakaya, Bembi, Restaurant Hofmann and Milongas.
