The Sagrada Família hosts a unique concert for Montserrat and Gaudí this Friday
Three prestigious European boys’ choirs will perform this Friday at the Sagrada Família in tribute to Montserrat and Gaudí. A historic concert that can also be followed by streaming.
The Basilica of the Sagrada Família will host an exceptional musical event this Friday. At 6:30 pm, an international concert will bring together three of Europe’s most respected children’s choirs, in a double tribute: to Montserrat’s millennium and to the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death.
The Escolania de Montserrat, Denmark’s Copenhagen Boys Choir and Bavaria’s Tölzer Knabenchor will take part, choirs with a long tradition and worldwide recognition. The recital will be held inside the church, creating a dialogue between choral music and Gaudí’s monumental architecture.
Access to the event was managed by ballot, and the list of attendees and reserves is now available on the official website. For those who did not secure a place, the concert will be streamed, allowing them to enjoy it from anywhere.
