Complete closure on Rodalies R1 and RG1 between Barcelona and Badalona for works in January

Rodalies lines R1 and RG1 will face a complete interruption between Barcelona El Clot Aragó and Badalona stations from 3 to 11 January. The reason is construction work by Adif at the future La Sagrera station, which makes it necessary to suspend rail service on this key section.

During these days, Badalona will be the starting and terminating point for Rodalies trains. Affected passengers will be able to continue their journey using Barcelona Metro line L2 from Badalona, as well as the Trambesòs from Sant Adrià de Besòs.

Renfe has reported that Rodalies lines R2 and R4 can also be used to reach stations such as L’Hospitalet, Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf and Clot. To access alternative metro, bus or tram services, users must request a transfer ticket at the departure station by presenting their Rodalies ticket.

The company recommends that passengers plan their journeys in advance and check the timetables for alternative services during the construction period.
