Night-time closures on the M-607 until Friday: how they affect journeys
The M-607 changes how it operates this week with night-time closures affecting those travelling between Tres Cantos and Colmenar Viejo. The restrictions towards Madrid make it necessary to reorganise usual journeys, especially at night.
The closures are concentrated between 22:00 and 06:00. During the first nights, the affected stretch requires traffic to be diverted via exit 24 and continue along the service road, which may lengthen journey times.
On Thursday, the closure will be more specific and will directly affect access points and exits at that same location. These interventions form part of the surfacing works for the third-lane extension.
In addition to the night closures, lane narrowings are expected during the day. This may cause occasional queues, especially at key junctions where traffic is heavier.
