What free concerts are there in Barcelona this month?
Barcelona is preparing for a June 2025 full of free outdoor music, offering concerts for every taste. This month's free concerts in Barcelona are ClotildeFest, the ‘Parcs en concert’ concert series and concerts from the Palau Carillon.
ClotildeFest, the quintessential youth festival, returns to the gardens of Palau Robert from 5 June. For four consecutive Thursdays, artists such as Alfred Garcia, Buhos, Suu, Ginestà and Blaumut will fill the space with energy and new sounds. Admission is free, but you need to obtain an invitation through Carnet Jove or participating radio stations. An unmissable event for those seeking local talent in an intimate, festive setting.
In the city’s historic centre, concerts on the carillon of the Palau de la Generalitat offer a very different experience. On the first Sunday of each month (except August and September), at 12 noon, the heart of the Barri Gòtic fills with melodies played on this unique instrument. In addition, July will see the Festival Internacional de Carillón de Barcelona, bringing together masters from around the world for special recitals with free admission and advance registration.
And for those who prefer a forest, a hill or a historic garden as their stage, a new edition of Parcs en concert is arriving, a series that turns natural spaces in the province of Barcelona into living stages. Artists such as Jo Jet & Maria Ribot, Maria Coma and Jordi Lanuza will provide a soundtrack to landscapes where music is not just heard: it is breathed in.
