Public holidays in Madrid 2026
The Government of the Community of Madrid has set the public holidays for 2026: there will be 14 non-working days, including local ones.
The Government of the Comunidad de Madrid has approved the 2026 calendar: residents of the region will enjoy 14 official public holidays, including 12 regional holidays and two to be determined by municipalities.

3 April, Good Friday.
1 May (Friday), Workers’ Day.
2 May (Saturday), Day of the Comunidad de Madrid.
15 August (Saturday), Assumption of the Virgin.
12 October (Monday), National Day of Spain.
2 November (Monday), All Saints’ Day.
7 December (Monday), Spanish Constitution Day.
8 December (Tuesday), Day of the Immaculate Conception.
25 December (Friday), Nativity of the Lord.
