From station to station in a flash: Renfe launches two new AVE express services between Madrid and Barcelona

With this improvement, the country's busiest route will reach 56 services every Thursday, 20 of them non-stop. More than a connection, it is a motorway on rails designed for those who count every minute.
The new services are scheduled for the early afternoon: departing Madrid Puerta de Atocha – Almudena Grandes at 13:57 and arriving at Barcelona Sants at 16:34. The return journey leaves Sants at 14:25 and lands — without wings, but with precision — in Madrid at 17:01.
With this move, Renfe is not only strengthening its network but redefining the concept of travelling between two capitals. Because in an age ruled by haste, arriving quickly is no longer a luxury: it is a necessity.
