Where are the Fiestas de Sants held?
The Fiestas de Sants take place in the Sants neighbourhood itself, in Barcelona, centred around its busiest streets such as Vallespir, Alcolea, Guadiana, and Robrenyo.
Every August, this neighbourhood in the Sants-Montjuïc district puts routine aside and becomes a circuit of collective imagination. Residents spend weeks organising to transform their streets into themed worlds: from jungles and castles to galaxies or underwater landscapes. Everything is handmade, and each street competes with the others for the most surprising decoration.
In addition to the decorations, the programme includes open-air concerts, community dinners, fire shows, games for children, and night-time dances. This is not a party made for tourists: it is a celebration made by and for the people of the neighbourhood, who open their doors to anyone who wants to experience it.
