Where to see Els Pastorets in Barcelona in 2025: performances running from 2 January
Els Pastorets returns to Barcelona in 2026 with performances in emblematic neighbourhoods that continue until after New Year. If you have not yet experienced this deeply rooted Christmas tradition, you still have time to choose a theatre and date to enjoy it with your family.
Christmas in Barcelona would not be the same without Els Pastorets. Every year, this classic play brings together whole generations in theatres and cultural centres in different neighbourhoods, keeping alive one of the most beloved traditions of the festive season.
From today, 2 January, these are the performances still on the programme:
Foment Martinenc (Provença, 591) has performances on 3 and 4 January, always at 18:00.
In Sarrià, Teatre de Sarrià (Pare Miquel de Sarrià, 8) presents L’estel de Natzaret by Ramon Pàmies on 3, 4 and 11 January, at 17:00.
In Poblenou, Sala Poblenou – Centre Moral i Cultural (Pujades, 176-178) presents L’estel de Nazaret on 4 and 11 January 2026, at 17:30.
In Sant Andreu, Casal Catòlic de Sant Andreu de Palomar (Pons i Gallarza, 58) continues with performances on 3 January at 19:00 and 4 January at 18:00.
Gràcia remains one of the epicentres of Els Pastorets. Centre Moral i Instructiu de Gràcia (Ros de Olano, 9) has performances on 2, 3 and 4 January, all at 18:00. In addition, during these days, the royal pages will collect letters for the Three Kings.
In Ciutat Vella, Centre Sant Pere Apòstol (Sant Pere Més Alt, 25) opts for a musical version with live music on 3 and 4 January, at 18:00.
Although many December performances have already taken place, these first days of January still offer a perfect opportunity to enjoy Els Pastorets before the Christmas period ends. Demand is usually high, so it is advisable to check availability and book in advance.
Els Pastorets remains an essential date for bringing Barcelona's Christmas festivities to a close and experiencing once again a tradition that brings together neighbourhoods, families and generations.
