Barça leads commercial revenue in LaLiga and overtakes Real Madrid

FC Barcelona has become the club with the highest commercial revenue in LaLiga, surpassing Real Madrid and strengthening its global position. This leadership has a direct impact on the club's ability to invest, compete, and continue growing both on and off the pitch.

In the latest season, Barça reached €556.8 million in commercial revenue, more than €70 million above Madrid. The growth is supported by sponsorships, advertising and merchandising, areas that already account for a key part of its business.

The Barça brand is also gaining weight in the visitor experience. The official shop and the club museum have become revenue drivers, consolidating the club's appeal beyond matches and expanding its international reach.

The report “LaLiga Commercial Report 2026” places Atlético de Madrid far behind, with €113.5 million. Overall, Primera and Segunda clubs have surpassed €1.5 billion in commercial revenue, moving closer to the major European leagues.

This change is not limited to the figures. Having more revenue makes it possible to attract talent, invest in infrastructure and support more ambitious sporting projects, which directly affects what supporters see every week.

For Barcelona, the figure reinforces the club's role as an economic driver and global symbol of the city, with a brand that continues to grow beyond football.
