Temperatures rise in Madrid this Friday, with highs of up to 26 °C
Madrid starts Friday with a clear change in the atmosphere. The rise in temperatures is noticeable from early in the day and makes for a warmer day, ideal for people planning outdoor activities or moving around the city without a coat.
According to the forecast from the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología, maximum temperatures will rise across the board, especially in the south and metropolitan area. The sky will remain mostly clear during the morning, although high clouds will become more present as the day progresses.
Temperatures in the capital will range from 13 to 23 degrees, while places such as Aranjuez will reach 26 °C. Alcalá de Henares and Navalcarnero will also record high values, around 25 degrees, confirming a more spring-like day that invites people out.
Winds will be light and variable, predominantly southerly in the middle of the day and south-easterly in the afternoon. In the Sierra, minimum temperatures will rise slightly and isolated showers cannot be ruled out at the end of the day, so it is advisable to plan for changes if activities are planned in that area.
Days like this usually change plans in the city: fuller terraces, more activity in parks and journeys on foot or by bike. Once again, the weather sets the everyday pace and encourages people to make the most of every part of the day before possible changes arrive in the coming days.
