This Sunday, historic aircraft will fly over Madrid again. Fundación Infante de Orleans is organising workshops, visits and prize draws for all ages. An event that transforms the weekend plan and brings classic aviation closer to the city.

This weekend, Madrid's sky will offer an unusual spectacle: the largest collection of historic aircraft in flight returns to Cuatro Vientos airport. Fundación Infante de Orleans resumes its monthly displays, an event already part of the city's cultural calendar and one that transforms the Sunday routine of many families and enthusiasts.

Cuatro Vientos looks to the sky again this Sunday with the Fundación Infante de Orleans display. The event brings together the largest collection of historic aircraft in flight with children's workshops, a guided tour and a prize draw, as well as the final air display. The programme starts at 10:30, continues with the static exhibition at 11:00 and the guided visit between 11:15 and 12:30, before the demonstration flight.

Tickets are now available, with general admission set by FIO at 10 euros on its website, although some recent information speaks of 11 euros; it is therefore advisable to check the official sale before going. The activity is repeated on the first Sunday of each month, except in January and August, and operates as a donation for the museum's maintenance.

The day starts at 10:30 with the opening of ticket offices and registration for children's workshops, designed for younger children to discover aviation from another era. From 11:00, visitors can tour the static exhibition and, shortly afterwards, join a guided tour between 11:15 and 12:30. At the end, prize draws are held among members and other prizes are awarded, before the public leaves the area near the aircraft to make way for the air display, which runs until 14:00.

Tickets are now available and have a general price of 10 euros. Discounts exist for children aged 5 to 12, people over 65 and large families. The amount is considered a donation for the maintenance of the Museo de Aviones Históricos en Vuelo, allowing this tradition to remain alive and accessible to all audiences.

Fundación Infante de Orleans has been bringing the history of aviation closer to Madrid residents for decades.
