The weekend brings clouds and possible rain in Barcelona
The last weekend of April in Barcelona brings a shift that will be noticed in outdoor plans. After several stable days, the weather becomes more variable precisely between Saturday 25 and Sunday 26.
Saturday is shaping up to be the calmest day. Partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures of around 20–21 °C and a spring-like atmosphere typical of this time of year are expected. Although some light precipitation cannot be ruled out, the chance of rain will be moderate and the day will allow outdoor plans to go ahead without major complications.
Sunday, on the other hand, will mark the turn. The forecast points to increased cloud cover and the arrival of more definite showers, with a greater likelihood of rain throughout the day. Temperatures will remain similar, slightly below 20 °C, but the atmosphere will be more humid and unstable, especially during the middle hours.
This pattern fits the usual behaviour of late April in Barcelona, when the weather is mild but changeable, with several days of light rain and temperatures ranging between 12 °C and 20 °C.
If you have plans on Saturday, it is the best time to make the most of being outside. For Sunday, it is advisable to plan indoor alternatives or go out with an umbrella: the weather can change quickly and affect any plan.
