The magician who conquered Broadway returns to Barcelona with ‘Nothing Is Impossible’

At 40, Antonio Díaz, from Badia del Vallès, Barcelona, has become a true phenomenon, capable of taking his magic to more than 150 countries around the world. A graduate in Dramatic Art from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, he created his first company at the age of 20 and in 2008 was awarded the Premio Nacional de Magia.

Over the years, he has known how to create a personal, polished, special, surprising and unique show, elevating magic and illusionism like few others. It is no coincidence that Mago Pop is currently the Spanish artist who has sold the most tickets for 5 consecutive years, with 3 million spectators. According to Forbes magazine, in 2018 he ranked as the world's highest-grossing European illusionist.

In 2021, Díaz was the Star of Magic on Netflix, thanks to the programme “Magic for Humans by el Mago Pop”, watched in 192 countries. His adventure continued and in 2019 he purchased the Teatre Victòria de Barcelona. Two years later, what seemed impossible, like his show, became reality, and he purchased one of the leading theatres in Branson, Missouri, USA, to conquer America.

In 2023 he triumphed on Broadway, taking $2,717,000 in just one week, surpassing other shows such as The Lion King. Figures such as Stephen Hawking (who said of Díaz, “I don't understand how he can do what he does”), Victoria Beckham, Penélope Cruz, Antonio Banderas and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been won over and recognise his talent.

In 2025, his show “Nothing Is Impossible” reached 3 million spectators in Madrid, premiered a documentary and he was named an Honorary Academician of the Performing Arts, consolidating magic as a recognised performing art.
