The Manzanares lit up in blue, turning into a Christmas fairy tale
The Manzanares river is transformed into a festive space illuminated with blue light, attracting residents and tourists with its magical holiday lighting
In Madrid, along the stretch of the Manzanares River between the Oblikou bridge and the Andorra pedestrian bridge, new decorative lighting has been installed: 61 LED projectors bathe the water in blue on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
The project is part of the city's Christmas lighting and transforms the riverside walk into a dreamlike place for strolling and taking photos. The system allows for changes in intensity and colour, creating spectacular light shows during the holidays.
The new lighting is already attracting residents and tourists, adding a special winter charm to Madrid at night.
