Mercado de las Ranas returns to Barrio de las Letras with fashion and gastronomy

The Barrio de las Letras is preparing to host a new edition of the Mercado de las Ranas this Saturday, 17 January. From 12 noon to 7 pm, the area will fill with stalls selling fashion, ceramics, costume jewellery and food offerings, in an outdoor event that promises to enliven the start of the year in Madrid.

The Barrio de las Letras Traders’ Association promotes this market, which brings together local artisans and traders with a wide variety of products: from clothing and footwear to illustrations, bags, decoration, natural cosmetics and culinary delights. Visitors will be able to walk along Calle Huertas, from number 2 to the corner with Calle Príncipe, and also from the corner with Calle León to Costanilla de las Trinitarias.

During the day, the neighbourhood’s hospitality establishments will offer promotions, discounts and special menus, joining the celebration and supporting local trade. The Mercado de las Ranas is thus consolidating its position as an essential date for those looking for different plans in the capital.
