El Molino brings jazz, soul and folk for a summer and autumn with a taste of music
The emblematic El Molino venue is preparing for a vibrant 2025 with a musical programme that will fill the summer and autumn months with major voices and sounds from around the world. Four leading names will appear at the legendary Barcelona theatre, consolidating its commitment to live music.
The first date will be 4 July, featuring the deep, elegant voice of Robin McKelle. The American artist, one of the leading ladies of soul and vocal jazz, will revisit classics in her unmistakable style, somewhere between nostalgia and stage power.
On 28 September, it will be the turn of Cuban artist Roberto Fonseca, a key figure in Afro-Cuban jazz and former member of the Buena Vista Social Club. His concert promises an explosive fusion of Caribbean roots and cutting-edge electronic music.
In October, El Molino will welcome Alondra Bentley on the 5th, a British singer-songwriter based in Spain, with an intimate live show blending folk, indie and pop. And on 11 October, the Gonzalo del Val Quinteto will close the series with Lamentos Mestizos, a jazz tribute to Mexican popular song.
In addition, El Molino maintains its regular Catalan-language comedy programme with Hilària Club and its Club Molino nights, where electronic music plays until dawn.
