Murfin’s mural in Fuenlabrada aims to be the best in the world
The striking ‘Lost Children’ mural turns Tesillo Street in Fuenlabrada into a true world-class artistic setting
In Fuenlabrada, street art reaches an international level. The mural, located at 1 Tesillo Street, is competing for the title of best mural in the world on the Street Art Cities platform. To support the work, the City Council is raffling a trip to Berlin for two people among all voters.
On the façade, a girl is shown hugging a toy crocodile that appears to come to life. The vivid colours and expressive gaze create a sense of movement and depth.
Murfin is already well known on the international scene: in 2020 he received the Andalucía Joven award and, previously, his mural “Your Dreams” took second place among the best works of the month on Street Art Cities.
Fuenlabrada has been actively developing urban art since 2019 through the Museo de Arte Urbano MAUF, where works by recognised artists such as Okuda San Miguel, Suso33, Dulk, Eva Mena and Sixe Paredes are exhibited.
Voting for “Niños Perdidos” is open until 10 November: all you need to do is vote on Street Art Cities, take a screenshot and send it to the City Council form.
