The angel Raguel invites the children of Torrejón to give their dummy to the Reyes Magos

This Friday, the Plaza Mayor de Torrejón de Ardoz will host one of the most endearing traditions for families: the collection of dummies by the angel Raguel, a member of the Comparsa de Gigantes y Cabezudos. The event will take place from 11:30 to 13:30 next to the Town Hall entrance, according to the Council.

The initiative is aimed at all children in the city who wish to hand over their dummy to the Three Wise Men, accompanied by their parents. The Council encourages families to join this custom, which each year brings together many participants and has become one of the favourite activities for both children and adults.

Children who hand over their dummy will receive a gift and the ‘Niño Mayor’ diploma from Torrejón de Ardoz, a symbolic recognition that celebrates this important step in their growth. The mayor, Alejandro Navarro Prieto, has highlighted the special collaboration of the angel Raguel on this day, underlining the success and welcome that dummy collection has among local residents.
