Rosalía’s gift to Broncano drove up sales at the Madrid workshop
A personalised plate bearing portraits of Rosalía and Broncano drew attention to a small Madrid workshop and caused Christmas sales to increase.
On David Broncano’s programme La Revuelta, Rosalía gave the presenter a personalised ceramic plate featuring their portraits and motifs from her new album Lux.
The plate was made by the small Madrid workshop Chichinabo Inc., which specialises in ceramics with local colour. The order was confidential and was placed through Sony Music. The illustration was designed by the record label, and Chichinabo’s craftspeople transferred it to the ceramic.
Artist Patricia Lázaro added a jewellery box inspired by Berlin club Berghain, but with a local interpretation. After it was published on Instagram, the workshop became a very popular place to buy Christmas presents.
