The Civis Guadalajara-Chamartín service returns at peak times, changing daily commutes
Civis trains between Guadalajara and Chamartín are running again at peak times, a direct improvement for thousands of commuters crossing Madrid every day. The service returns after weeks of suspension, allowing faster journeys again at key times.
The first departures towards Chamartín are concentrated early in the morning, while the return journeys are spread out over the afternoon. This reactivation makes regular travel to areas like Plaza de Castilla or the north of the city easier.
The suspension was due to problems at the Fuencarral workshop, which forced a reorganisation of frequencies on several Cercanías lines. During that period, many users had to adapt to longer journeys with more stops.
