Parque Lago de Loranca is reopening after a refurbishment that changes the pace of weekends in Fuenlabrada. The intervention, with an investment close to €150,000, has restored prominence to this green space, much frequented by families and residents of the Loranca-Nuevo Versalles-Parque Miraflores district.

Among the most visible improvements are the comprehensive cleaning of the lake and the renewal of the water surface, which now has a healthier and more attractive appearance. The green areas have come back to life thanks to new lawns, mowing and scrub-clearing work, and planting in different corners, including the central island. The irrigation system has also been optimised to ensure maintenance throughout the year.

The park is also unveiling urban furniture: a drinking fountain, new table-tennis tables and picnic areas that invite people to extend the afternoon. These additions seek to make the park a more comfortable and versatile meeting point for those looking to switch off without leaving the neighbourhood.
