The restaurant where Barça celebrated the end of their season: sea views and a pool
FC Barcelona end the season with two titles: LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup. After the effort, and before some of their players head to the World Cup, the squad went out to dinner at a restaurant in Castelldefels. We look at the details of this fashionable venue with sea views.
Casanova Beach Club, CBC, located facing the sea on Paseo Marítimo de Castelldefels, is one of the leading venues of the Lancaster restaurant and leisure group, which has many other establishments in the coastal town 15 km from Barcelona.
It stands out especially for combining Mediterranean cuisine with international influences in a spacious, sophisticated, modern setting with sea views. There is also a swimming pool and solarium area, among other services. Accompanied by their partners and friends, the full FC Barcelona squad went to CBC, or Casanova Beach Club, to savour its wide gastronomic offering. Its menu encompasses Mediterranean cuisine with Asian touches in an exclusive setting, accompanied by a select wine list with more than 180 references.
At night, it turns into a vibrant club with DJs, live performances and signature cocktails, attracting all kinds of celebrities.
If you decide to go, you can eat a variety of dishes. Starters include Delta de l’Ebre oysters, grilled octopus, Iberian ham, fried small fish, burrata with pine nuts, corvina ceviche and, if you want rice dishes, it is one of the notable places to eat them: arroz a banda with cuttlefish and langoustine, lobster rice stew, black rice with squid, artichokes and saffron all i oli; as well as its fish: wild turbot with vegetable wok, wild sea bass, and grilled meats such as beef sirloin with caliu potatoes or Iberian pluma.
There is also a special section for Japanese dishes with sushi and more elaborate options such as duck breast hosomaki, and a weekly menu from Tuesday to Friday for only 25 euros.
Casanova Beach Club is one of Grupo Lancaster’s restaurants, which owns a variety of restaurants and beach bars in Baix Llobregat.
