Several new shopping centres will open in the Madrid region in 2026
In 2026, Madrid will enter a new era of shopping, when several large-scale shopping centres change the city's map
Madrid is preparing to renew its retail spaces: next year several large complexes will open that will reinforce the retail offer and generate thousands of jobs. Retail Park La Maquinilla, in Colmenar Viejo, will be the first to open its doors, with 16,500 m², 20 shops and leading international brands.
The key project will be Valdebebas Shopping, a giant of 360,000 m² and 260 shops, which promises to become the capital's largest centre and provide more than 9,000 jobs.
The possible launch of OMO Cañaveral Retail Park and Parque Comercial Imagina is also expected: both projects are almost complete and may expand the region's retail map with new formats and brands.
