A gigantic dragon-shaped playground is being installed in Madrid's Chinatown
A gigantic red dragon will be installed in Madrid's Chinatown, where children will be able to climb inside, slide down slides, and play in a unique themed playground.
In the Usera neighbourhood, known as Madrid’s Chinatown, a large children’s playground in the shape of a red dragon almost 20 metres long is opening. The structure is located in Plaza de Tizas, beside the pedestrian route between the heart of Usera and Madrid-Río, and has capacity for 110 children of different ages. Half of the play elements are accessible to children with disabilities.
The playground consists of two parts: the main dragon figure and its tail. At ground level, children will be able to play with mazes, swings, slides and interactive panels, while inside the structure there is a net, a slide, hoops and climbing structures.
