Two new spots have opened in Madrid for true taco lovers
Trompo e Indomable, two new taco restaurants, have opened in the capital, where classic tacos al pastor are served alongside creative new takes in a welcoming atmosphere.
Madrid is experiencing a new taco boom. Two venues have opened in the capital and have already caught the attention of lovers of Mexican cuisine: Trompo in Chamberí and Indomable in Prosperidad.
Trompo, which began as a stall in San Leopoldo market, now operates from its own premises on Calle Gastambide. Classic tacos al pastor are prepared here, with marinated pork, pineapple and onion, following Mexico’s finest traditions.
Indomable, for its part, is committed to a cosy atmosphere and original flavour combinations. The menu includes Mexican recipes with Colombian and Asian touches, such as chicken tacos with mole, which contain more than 30 ingredients, from chocolate to fried banana.
