Fabrik takes 14th place among the world's best clubs

Madrid does not merely sound; it rumbles. And much of that energy is born at Fabrik, the club in Humanes that has once again placed the Spanish capital on the global electronic-music map. In the latest edition of DJMag’s Top 100 Clubs ranking, Fabrik was recognised as the fourteenth best club in the world, sharing the podium with techno giants such as Hï Ibiza. Far from the urban centre and without needing the bustle of Gran Vía, Fabrik has created its own universe: seven different areas, 65,000 square metres, capacity for 15,000 people and a line-up that seems lifted from the dream poster of any major festival. Since opening 22 years ago, its booths have hosted names as powerful as Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Charlotte de Witte, David Guetta and Tiësto, and this summer, on 28 June, it will celebrate its anniversary with a 12-hour session headlined by Loco Dice and an eagerly anticipated Bresh party. The venue has areas as emblematic as the Hangar, its 1,200 m2 Main Room, the summery Terraza and the refurbished Área 19, perfect for getting lost beneath lights and beats. And if the night runs long, there is always its own hotel: Hotel Fabrik, with options ranging from suites to cabins. From Humanes, Fabrik has shown that the outskirts can be the global epicentre of electronic music. And everything points to it continuing to dance hard.
