HIP 2026 makes Madrid the global centre of innovative hospitality
More than 60,000 professionals and 1,000 companies are gathering at IFEMA Madrid, where the capital becomes, for a few days, the meeting point for the hospitality sector, with an estimated economic impact of 102 million euros.
From this Monday until Wednesday, Madrid is hosting Europe’s largest trade fair for hospitality solutions, HIP 2026, which brings together more than 60,000 business owners, executives and professionals from the Horeca sector at the Recinto Ferial de Ifema. More than 1,000 exhibiting companies and 150 international CEOs turn the capital into the hospitality industry’s “Davos”, against a backdrop of pressure on margins, price volatility and the arrival of new players in the market.
Under the slogan “Next Level Unlocked”, the fair positions itself as the leading meeting point for analysing how to grow in an environment of fluctuating prices and changing consumer habits. The event is expected to generate an economic impact of more than €102 million in the city.
The Hospitality 4.0 Congress, a global forum for Horeca trends, will bring together 712 national and international experts who will share perspectives and success stories to boost competitiveness and business differentiation. The congress’s tenth edition will feature more than 35 specialist forums, tailored to each type of business and professional profile.
The Summit de Compras Hospitality by Aerce will address the strategic role of supply directors in dealing with inflation without sacrificing quality. For the first time, Hospitality Management will include the accommodation perspective. In addition, the Sin Filtro and Sin Filtro Pastry forums, organised by Montagud Editores, will analyse the evolution of haute cuisine and pastry-making.
