Inverfest 2026 surprises with Villanos and Teatro Eslava as new venues

Inverfest 2026 renews its music offering in Madrid with the addition of two emblematic spaces: Villanos and Teatro Eslava. The festival, to be held in January and February, brings together established figures and emerging talents in a diverse, vibrant programme.

On Thursday 8 January, Ariel Rot will open the concert series at Teatro Eslava. The guitarist and composer, known for his time in Tequila and Los Rodríguez, will review his solo career with songs from albums such as ‘Hablando Solo’ and ‘La Huesuda’.

On Thursday 22 January, Villanos will host Vinila Von Bismark, who will present ‘La Última Sultana’, a show that fuses Andalusian tradition and avant-garde, paying tribute to the women of Granada with striking staging.

On Friday 23 January, Ana Curra will take to the Teatro Eslava stage to pay tribute to Parálisis Permanente, the pioneering Spanish post-punk band. That same night, Ramón Mirabet will perform at Villanos with his ‘V’ tour, a journey through different styles and emotions.

On Saturday 24 January, Sofía Gabanna will bring her rap and energy to Villanos. The Spanish-Argentinian artist, influenced by genres such as flamenco, jazz and hip hop, will share her musical evolution and passion for rhythmic writing.

On Wednesday 28 January, MäBU, a leading band on the independent scene, will give a concert at Villanos where pop, alternative rock and singer-songwriter music mix in an intimate, elegant format.

On Thursday 29 January, Ona Mafalda will present her album ‘Reset’ at Villanos, inspired by personal and musical rebirth, with influences from The Strokes and Blondie, and a commitment to the raw energy of electric guitars.

On Friday 30 January, Javier Corcobado will celebrate 40 years of his recording career at Teatro Eslava. The artist will review his career with the double album ‘Solitud y Soledad’, accompanied by notable collaborations.

On Saturday 31 January, Blackpanda will begin its 2026 tour at Villanos. The Madrid duo will present ‘Vapor y Cielo’, a work that fuses electronic and organic sounds, from UK Garage to pop and techno.

On Sunday 8 February, JJ Machuca will show his innovative system of optical sensors on the piano at Villanos, transforming the instrument into a multi-instrument. His conceptual record ‘La Dimensión Humana’ explores the opposites of the human being.

On Wednesday 11 February, Lucía Espín will debut at Villanos with her first album ‘Un motivo para volver’, produced by Enrique Heredia ‘El Negri’. The artist fuses pop, flamenco, rock and psychedelia in an original repertoire and tribute covers.
