Eastpak brings a pop-up travel agency to Barceloneta
Barceloneta gains a different plan by the sea this weekend. Eastpak arrives at Sea You Club with its Travel Agency, a pop-up travel agency mixing music, food and interactive activities for those who want to break out of the routine without leaving Barcelona.
The event will take place on 10 and 11 July on the Mare Nostrum promenade, right on the seafront. Entry will be free and the pop-up will run from 13:00 to 17:30 on Friday and from 11:00 to 20:00 on Saturday, convenient hours for dropping by before or after the beach.
The proposal plays with the idea of travel as an unexpected experience. Visitors will be able to let chance decide their next destination, explore different themed spaces and discover Eastpak’s Resist’r Case and Transit’r luggage collections in a format closer to leisure than a simple product presentation.
The venue will include a Souvenir Corner, a Chill-Out Lounge area and an interactive area for testing travel skills. Everything is designed for the visit to work as a small journey, with corners to browse, take part, listen to music and stay for a while.
Bar Brutal, one of the recognisable names on Barcelona’s scene, will handle the food. Music will be provided by DJs Loli Zazou and Nahoomie, with sets prepared to accompany the Sea You Club atmosphere over the weekend.
On Saturday, a new edition of Eastpak Talks will be added, with Mar Vallverdú sharing her view of travel as a source of inspiration and of new ways to connect with the world. The talk adds a more reflective element to a proposal designed above all to be experienced in a light, participatory way.
The location helps the plan make sense. Sea You Club has established itself as a meeting point in la Barceloneta, linked to the sea, surfing, urban culture and plans that mix leisure, brands and community without being confined to a conventional space.
The arrival of Eastpak Travel Agency offers another example of how Barcelona uses its seafront in summer: beach, music, food and fleeting experiences that turn an ordinary stroll into a weekend plan. For residents and visitors, la Barceloneta once again acts as a showcase for a city that finds a key part of its social life in the sea.
