La Casa Encendida transforms Christmas with workshops, cinema and family dance

La Casa Encendida once again becomes the epicentre of family Christmas in Madrid with the return of the Brilli Brilli Festival, held until 4 January 2026. This event, designed for children and families, offers a programme full of free workshops, immersive installations, film screenings and dance sessions to enjoy the festivities together.

The 2025 edition focuses on the home as a space for gathering and fun. The Patio and Torreón II are transformed with decorations inspired by the music video for Rigoberta Bandini’s ‘Aprenderás’, thanks to designs by Kevin & Alan Gallego and María Ona.

Among the standout activities is Venturia 3, an installation created by Conjuntos Empáticos that simulates an extraterrestrial house for the play and relaxation of younger children. It can be visited on Friday 26 December in hourly sessions until 18:30, with admission at 5 euros.

The festival also presents Zurcidoras del sonido, a performance by Tania Arias on 2 January, with several sessions and tickets at 10 euros per family group. In addition, the performance Pelis con los ojos cerrados invites visitors to imagine films through animated short films on 27 December at 12 noon, for 5 euros.

Cinema lovers will be able to enjoy the classic Bitelchús in 35 mm on 27 December at 20:00, with tickets at 4 euros, and a selection of eight shorts on 3 January at 12 noon, also for 4 euros.

The free workshops include proposals by Daniel Tornero, with abstract embroidery and experimental animation on 21 December at 11:00, and by Yuliya Gwilym, who on 3 January at 12 noon will encourage participants to build a home brick by brick.

The festival closes with the Miniclub dance event on 28 December at 12 noon, for 5 euros, and the Pyjama Party with Caries (Carlangas and Natalia Ferviú) and a live performance by Dear Joanne on 4 January at 12 noon, also for 5 euros.
