La Fàbrica de Joguines de Fabra i Coats surprises with new experiences for families

The Fàbrica de Joguines at Fabra i Coats has begun a new edition full of surprises and activities for the whole family. From this Saturday, children can enter the heart of the Three Kings’ logistics centre and discover how Christmas’s most eagerly awaited gifts are prepared and distributed. The venue will be open every afternoon until 4 January, except on 31 December and 1 January. Admission is free, but only with prior registration, and places sold out in just 30 minutes.

This year, the experience is renewed with the welcome of the factory’s guardians, who receive visitors with circus acrobatics and stories about the space’s industrial past. Up to six characters accompany groups to the large post office, where the youngest visitors can validate and place their letter in the royal letterboxes.

During the tour, children hear magical anecdotes from the sleep watchwoman, the lamplighter, the weaver of the magic calendar and the toy maker. In addition, a renewed story can be followed through the façade’s windows, revealing the factory’s best-kept secrets.

The organisers have planned groups of 150 people every 15 minutes to ensure a smooth visit. Although all tickets are reserved, this Saturday some visitors have waited at the door in the hope of taking a free place left by the absence of other attendees, and some have managed to get in.
