The Spanish Federation forces CE Europa to find a stadium against the clock

CE Europa faces a critical situation after the Spanish Football Federation refused to postpone its match against Atlético Madrileño, scheduled for 17 January. The Barcelona club had requested a change of date because of the poor condition of the Can Dragó pitch, affected by the recent storm in the city.

The Sole Judge for Non-Professional Competitions, Rafael Alonso, rejected the request without offering detailed explanations. The club must now find an alternative stadium before Tuesday at 14:00 in order to play the match.

The club says it has been seeking a solution for days and that its priority is to play as close as possible to its supporters. It thanks Barcelona City Council for the investment made to adapt Can Dragó to the requirements of the Primera Federación, although it regrets the lack of support from both the Spanish and Catalan federations.

CE Europa's debut at Can Dragó is postponed until 8 February, when the pitch will be in optimal condition to host Hércules and avoid risks to the players.
