The Champions Burger final arrives in Leganés with more than 20 burgers
Leganés Fairground will host the Spanish final of The Champions Burger 2026 from 10 to 27 September. For 18 days, more than twenty burger restaurants qualified in different cities will compete for the title of Spain's best burger in an event with free admission.
The opening will be on Thursday the 10th at 19:00. From then on, the venue will operate from Monday to Thursday between 18:00 and 00:00 and from Friday to Sunday between 12:00 and midnight. It is not necessary to buy a ticket in advance.
Among the finalists are establishments from different parts of the country, such as Nolito's, Cheeck's, Godeo, Gottan, The Vicbros, Vacarnal, Dak, Briochef, Marlons, La Muralla, Ardemos, Baool and Carnivale. Altogether, the venue will bring together more than 30 food offerings when the complementary stalls are included.
The winner will not be decided by a professional jury alone. After buying a burger, each visitor will be able to scan the QR code included on their receipt and rate it. The public’s ratings will determine which entry becomes the national champion of this edition.
Food will share the space with a daily leisure programme. The main stage will feature DJ sets and concerts, including tributes to artists and groups such as El Canto del Loco, Amaral, Queen, Aitana and Bon Jovi. The programme released for the final also includes new food areas and attractions such as a zip line crossing the venue and a free-fall installation.
One of the new features will be The Fire Pit, an area focused on live charcoal-grilled preparations. Other food options and desserts will be added to the burgers, so the festival will not be limited to the establishments competing for the main prize.
There is an important practical detail before attending: cash will not be accepted directly at the stalls inside the festival. Anyone carrying only cash will be able to exchange it at the information point for a prepaid card. The organisers also allow dogs, as it is an outdoor event.
To get there from Madrid without a car, the most direct option is MetroSur. Casa del Reloj station, on Line 12, is approximately a five-minute walk from the Recinto Ferial de Leganés.
The competition will remain open until Sunday 27 September. Over those two and a half weeks, attendees’ votes will determine which burger succeeds the winners of previous editions in the national honours list.
