Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona will play before Pope Lleó XIV at Estadi Olímpic

The JOSB, conducted by Carlos Checa, has been chosen by the Arzobispado de Barcelona to take part in the event. For the ensemble, made up of young musicians, the performance means appearing before a mass audience in a setting very different from a concert hall.

The event will be held at the Estadi Olímpic, with gates opening at 16:00 and a scheduled start at 18:00. A ticket will be required to enter the venue, so this will not be an open event without capacity control.
