The business, opened in 1919, is closing due to a lack of generational succession. Brothers Miquel Àngel and Lluís Àlvarez, the third generation at the helm, have decided to retire without finding anyone to continue the workshop and the spirit of the premises.
Before closing, the pastry shop will hold a farewell with neighbours and customers, a final tribute to a place that has been a meeting point for decades. The occasion will serve to share memories and say goodbye to one of the neighbourhood's best-loved businesses.
