The Sagrada Familia opens the draw to attend the Gaudí tribute: a journey to 1925 from the present
The Sagrada Familia has opened the registration process for a draw for 150 pairs of tickets that will allow people to attend a very special event: the tribute to Antoni Gaudí on the anniversary of a decisive moment for the church.
It is not just a ceremony, but a look back to 30 November 1925, when the architect contemplated, for the first — and only — time, one of his towers completely finished.
The Tower of Barnabas rose before his eyes as a message to the future. Gaudí, aware that he would not see the work completed, wanted to leave behind a constructed testament so that citizens would understand the scale of his vision and so that his disciples would have an exact reference for the path to follow. That gesture is now a turning point that the event seeks to recover and share.
The ceremony will pay tribute to the architect who conceived a church capable of uniting spirituality and technique, geometry and nature, and who left Barcelona with one of the world’s most singular works. It will also be an opportunity to observe how that dream continues to advance towards the future central tower dedicated to Jesus.
Those wishing to apply for an invitation may register until 23 November at 9:00 pm through the online form. The church will draw the places among all registered people.
