Sagrada Família raffles 90 pairs of tickets for a Sant Jordi night visit in Barcelona
The basilica is offering 90 pairs of tickets for a guided night visit on 22 April with access to the audiovisual installation “Llum primigènia”, while on 23 April people named Jordi and Jordina may enter free with a companion.
The Sagrada Família is offering a draw for 90 pairs of tickets for a guided night-time visit on 22 April. The experience includes exclusive access to the audiovisual installation "Llum primigènia". In addition, people named Jordi and Jordina will be able to enter free of charge on 23 April.
Barcelona is preparing for one of the most special nights of the year: the Sagrada Família has launched a draw that will allow 180 people to discover the temple during an unprecedented night-time opening, on the eve of Sant Jordi. This initiative offers the opportunity to tour the basilica outside normal opening hours, in a guided experience that promises to surprise even those who already know the monument.
The draw, open from 13 to 15 April, is being held through a form available on the Sagrada Família website and social media. Winners will receive their tickets by email and will be able to choose between three entry slots: 20:15, 20:30 or 20:45. The visit on 22 April will also include the chance to enjoy the audiovisual installation "Llum primigènia", a proposal that reinterprets the legend of Sant Jordi through digital art and will be available from 21 to 27 April.
On 23 April, the main day of Sant Jordi, the basilica will open its doors free of charge to all people called Jordi, Jordina or variants in other languages, together with one companion. Reservations for this special day can be made from 13 April, always subject to availability.
Beyond its imposing architecture, the Sagrada Família has established itself as a living space in Barcelona's cultural calendar. Every year, the temple surprises visitors with proposals that connect tradition and the avant-garde, such as the installation "Llum primigènia", which enters into dialogue with the sculpture of Josep Maria Subirachs and combines Christian iconography with digital art. These initiatives reinforce the basilica's role as a meeting point between history, creativity and urban life.
