Madrid’s Sierra Norte returns to FITUR 2026 with a renewed proposal that brings together culture, nature and local products. The stand, located in pavilion 9B02, will be the hub of activities from 21 to 25 January, inviting visitors to explore the region in innovative ways.
Among the featured experiences, visitors will be able to tour the Sierra Norte by bus, walk the Carpetania Path Network or immerse themselves in the traditional festivities and tourism events planned for this year. The fair thus becomes a window onto the district’s many facets.
One of the main new features will be the Carpetania Suena project: Paths That Can Be Heard. Attendees will be able to put on headphones and enter a sensory experience that mixes hiking, music and nature. On 23 January, the sound design of six routes will be officially presented, making it possible to discover the area’s biodiversity and soundscape.
Gastronomy will also play a leading role. The Sierra Norte Gastronómica Association and local producers will offer daily tastings of recipes made with local products, bringing the flavours of the mountains to all visitors.
