Torre Glòries will host the world skyscraper summit in September 2025
From 1 to 5 September 2025, Barcelona will become the meeting point for some of the planet’s most iconic structures.
Torre Glòries will host the annual convention of the World Federation of Great Towers, an international network that brings together icons such as the Eiffel Tower, the Empire State Building and Shanghai’s Oriental Pearl Tower.
Barcelona is the only city in Spain that is part of this select network, represented not only by Torre Glòries but also by Torre de Collserola. This year, the convention also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the building designed by Jean Nouvel and the third anniversary of the Mirador, which has already received more than 350,000 visitors since it opened.
At 125 metres high, with its glass envelope and more than 4,000 windows, Torre Glòries offers a 360-degree panorama that will provide the backdrop for reflection on the architectural challenges of the 21st century.
The recently opened Parc de Glòries, now a new meeting point for citizens, will complete the setting for an event that reaffirms Barcelona as an international reference point for architecture and urban sustainability.
