Las Rozas will renovate Calle Martín Iriarte for the neighbourhood festivities

In Las Rozas de Madrid, the refurbishment of Martín Iriarte Street, in the Las Matas neighbourhood, is expected to be completed before the start of the festivities in honour of San José Obrero.

The works cover the carriageway and the adjoining area. The City Council is renewing the paving, organising the space and making the street more accessible for pedestrians and transport. The aim is simple: to reach the festivities without construction barriers or temporary restrictions.

The San José Obrero festivities bring together residents and visitors to Las Matas every year. The City Council hopes that by then one of the key streets will be completely ready and able to accommodate the increased number of people without inconvenience.
